I have a88 F250 with dual tank problems . I was a dummy and didn't check it out first to verify the problem . I assumed , that when my rear tank went out that it was the in tank low pressure pump that failed . I replaced it . ( about $180-$200 ) ouch Not the problem! Before I go and replace anything else I'm going to make sure what's the problem. It seems that the high pressure fuel pump is only pumping from the bottom connection , because I can switch lines to use from other tank . Quite a hassel though compared with flipping a switch . My question would be does the high pressure fuel pump go out like that on only one side ? Or could it be the switch ? OR ??? Thanks for any hints or possible fixes that you have
