car sits in Italy rn, but have been german registered it seems, at least attempted for german plates. in Italy it was reg, but deregistered due to paperwork issues.

I would love to get help checking the VIN in US. to see if its even been exported properly. any additional infos are welcome too!

I did run a carfax on it. but the history is strange.. there is no export note whatsoever.. scares me a little
that smells of black market then.
stolen and exported overnight...
but.... if it has a clean track record over there, for a couple of owners, it should be safe to buy.... no expert, just a theory.
However,
I have purchased 5 Carfax reports, and I know of history that was done on several of those vehicles that was done, and or sold to private owners, that was not reported.
a lack of a report, only means the agency, or owner, did not send in a report to the national database.
my Suburban was purchased from a private owner, neither of us reported that.
the title change is the only thing Carfax could find and that does not list odometer or owner names.
