Shifting problems
Now that I've skirted around the real issue, here it is. Just yesterday, my tranny started shifting poorly. It is shifting into 2nd & 3rd at a much higher RPM than it did previously. Also, the downshift is noticeable, where it never was before. Today when I got under there ( and it's too damn cold to be under there BTW) I noticed what looked like a vacuum hose just hanging loose. I reconnected it, but still had the same problems. Browsing the forums, I've noticed U-Joints can cause these symptoms? Is this right? How? What else could be my problem?
