5sp man ZF -- Options??
Hi folks, my first time. I have a 90 F-250 5.8 5 sp man ZF trans. that I ran low on fluid and wasted the trans. My question is what other trans. will bolt up and with no drive line mods. Would appriciate the help!! Thanks!

a T-18 might bolt up, but that is about the only other manual that is tough enough, but it does not have o/d. The ZF is a tough transmission, way better than the m5od. I would find another ZF transmission, and put that on. I am tinkering with the idea to put a ZF in the 78 F-100, or better milage.
