4x4 not working

hi ive got a 88 351w automatic tran efi bronco with manuall locking hubs. my 4x4 isnt working!! I lock the hubs put it in gear and drive forward and even backwards trying 2 engage the the 4x4, it does nothing only real wheel drive? maybe its a fuse? becuse i notice my indicator lights dont work like the 4x4 lite or blinker indicator lights? <-- --> 4x4? i dont fell anything engageing when i **** in to 4x4 either?

any ideas?

Well your Bronco has the manual shifter so that rules out fuses, first I would check out the linkage between the shifter and the transfer case.

You said you have manual locking hubs but. do you have an auto system with manual override. This means do you have push button with Manual hubs? If so your on the right track with the fuse. If thats not it, try scanning your Computer for codes. Also your 4x4 computer may have gone out. This is not real common but entirely possible.
