FX4 Expedition

When are we going to see one? Z71 Tahoe has no competition besides the H2. Step up to the plate, Ford!

Thumbs up

You'd think it would be here already - I'd say that 90% of the parts could be brought over from the FX4 F-150.

I'd like to see an FX4 Expy and an Expy Lightning as well - showtime!

I posted elsewhere a list of vehicles that should be made.
2 that I think would do well are Tahoe SS and FX4 Expedition. The Lightning Expedition is also a great idea. So is a motor home that looks identical to a fire engine.

There is an FX4 Expy. Visit the Ford website every now and then.

They got skidplates, LS, uprated shocks, it's own interior, tube steps, different wheels and, of course, badges.

A high performance expy? Oh man, I think I should wipe up the droll on the keyboard now. I would buy one in a heartbeat.

Where is this FX4 Expy at? They have an NBX. I don't like that. It should be the same off road group for all models.

For the 2004 MY Ford switched from FX4 to NBX on the Expy.

Remember the Ford Thunder? It was an Expy with a Lightning motor. Impressive 0-60 and 1/4 mi. times. Not sure why Ford didn't follow through with the project

I have an '03 Expy FX4

And I absolutely love it! I can't compare it to other Expys though, as I only test drove them...

But it handles great off-road, or at least the off-roading I do. Down old logging roads, farm trails, gravel beds, fields, streams and what not getting to my secret hunting and fishing stashes...

It also did great in 12" of snow while hunting in central New York the last couple of days...
