I just put on the shackle flip from sky manufacturing on to my 93 F150 (also has 4" springs and 3" blocks (Too bad i want to get rid of the 3" blocks, looks pretty sick with 11" of lift out back, hah )After the flip the tire is REAL close to the fender. I found this zero rate add-a-leaf made by ORD that will allow me to mount the axle 1.5" towards the back so i ordered it up. The only questions, if this isn't enough to get my axle back close to centered, what are some other options? I have seen front hanger drop brackets that i'm considering, or would it be just better to move the stock front hanger back the distance i need? Any input would be awesome. Thanks.
Well the ORD add-a-leaf will move the axle back 1.5", thats about all i want to move the axle back on the leafs, just not sure if i trust moving it back anymore. Just looking for other ways to move the axle back
I'm not sure if it's going to be enough, i hope 1.5" will be perfect. I'm not worried about axlewrap, seems as tho it has be lessene after i put the flip on, and a 1" block isn't much. (need the inch to keep it level with the front)
