As I merged into traffic under heavy acceleration,my CEL flickered a few times but did not stay on.I had it scanned but no codes were stored. I was told it was either a dirty air filter,dirty fuel filter,or bad gas. I did pull the air filter,which was a little bit dirty,and blew it out with compressed air. I will change it tommorrow.After doing this I drove it again,under hard acceleration and no CEL flicker.Any ideas what might be causing this?

 

I guess it could have been due to not enough air hitting the MAF. Hard to say for sure.
