99 and 2000 Ranger help please
Hello....I have a couple questions about 2 Rangers. Fords has been in our family since day 1. My dad wont own nothing, but a Ford
Two summers ago we got word of this 99 Ranger that was wrecked. Its an extended cab, 4dr, 3.0 auto with 20000 miles on it, off road package. The bad thing about it is, its totaled. To fix it, we need a new cab. The frame is bent also.
I was browsing around on ebay and fount an 2000 Ranger 4x4 4.0 5 speed in the low 100,000 miles on her. The truck has been flipped and needs a lil body work, but nothing like our 99.
Now for the question....Is it possible that the engine in the 99 will go in this 2000 Ranger? Would it be possible with the computers parts out today like they are on these newer model vehicles, and would it be possible because one is a 3.0 and the other is a 4.0, standard and auto also. Thank you
