auto trans.
I have a 2003 F250 super duty 10000 miles now. Auto trans. seems to be shifting oddly. If I lift my foot from the foot pedal while in OD, it shifts back into drive and then into OD. While driving in town it seems that the rpms are always running to high. On cold mornings ( 35 degrees or lower ) I will drive 2 miles at 55 mph before it shifts into OD. It shifts when the trans. oil gauge begins to climb. Also the muffler sounds kind of wimpy. Is all of this normal? Thanks

How many RPM difference are you talking about? On cold mornings, mine shifts into OD fine but the torque converter does not lock up for several miles. You may be just be seeing\feeling the TC locking up.
