Every kid is different, a lot depends on how they are raised. I used to collect them when I was a kid and kept them in their original boxes. When my sisters kids came around my mother let them play with them and most of them roughed up and half of them disappeared. They are toys after all..
Unfortunately collectables aren't worth much, seeing a kid with a smile on his face is priceless. When you're gone more than likely your sons will likely do the same as I've just done or toss them in a dumpster..if you plan to sell them you're not going to get much for them.
My two sons will provably take my die cast John. Now I realize why they call them collectibles, they collect dust.
I collected thousands of Ford truck, Mustang and Ford performance magazines Papa. A few yrs ago I cleaned up in my basement and took them in for recycling, it was painful.
Hey All, just checking in to make sure you’re all behaving!
Looks like winter is coming. Still have a bit of firewood and outdoor work to do. Lots of rain lately. Working on the ‘06, turning into a bit of a project. injectors, some other Mtce and mods, and dealing with some rust..
I have concrete aprons outside my shops, great when new but they do crack. Still better than muck, asphalt might be the best, certainly the easiest to spot repair.
I have a concrete apron on the outside of my shop only because there was extra concrete on the truck, I wish I had planned for it..we did put re-bar in it though and it stayed put..
