Crew cab automatic window replacement

I am removing all the glass from my truck as I get it prepped for paint. So far no issues until I came to the back doors on the crew cab. Anyone know of a video or write up, or know how to remove the windows from the back doors?

It shouldn’t be any different than what you did on the front doors but I’ve never seen automatic rear windows on these trucks.

seems a bit different since there isn’t a vent triangle window to move to make room for the glass to come out.

No different. You will still have to get the window out of the tracks and disconnected from the regulator.

Right, figure it like regulator replacement
Once you get the regulator and rear channel out, the window can go sideways enough to get out of the tracks, and come up and out, like the front ones did
Those front ones, you need not to play with the wing window part either, just the rear channel comes out and then the window comes up and out

Yep. I have never removed the vent window to remove the glass.

I'm taking a little bit of a topic shift, but with all the OBS and brick nose trucks I've owned i've never had to remove a vent window. They see indestructible aside from maybe a rusted frame at the bottom, that includes rolling trail rigs w/ shattered window and windhield....little venerable vent windows still in tact.
