Try asking this in the electrical forum maybe??? I would think any good alternator shop could answer this for you too. Sorry, I haven't a clue here on this one....

There's lots of them around. Try Summit, or Jegs. Summit has a 'truck dept' that carries a whole bunch of stuff. Some of the class C motorhomes had a bigger alternator if I remember, must be the conversion people that put that in. There's many big amp alternators out there, or you could have yours rewound I believe.

I see lots of these bigger alternators on E-Bay Motors all the time, although truthfully E-Bay has gone from an auction site to an over-retail site. Lots of the so-called auctions don't even allow bidding anymore. Or the starting bid price is a buck away from the buy it now price. How can there be a minimum bid of say $20 (for instance) on an item that has zero bids ? It's no longer a guy with an extra set of V-10 headers who's trying to sell his stuff. It's companies hawking high priced merchandise. I know we have the freedom to not buy, but the way alot of those ads are written, I know many people get taken advantage of. And there's no phone number or address for E-Bay. If you have a problem you send them an e-mail, maybe they e-mail you in return. Other than that you got nothing, no recourse. So use E-Bay to see who has what for sale, then go out and find it yourself.
