I have a '24 F350 Lariat ultimate and have noticed two things...
1. While I have the headlights swithed to auto I have noticed when the high beams come back on, after passing oncoming traffic, they slowly (slowly is a relative term) turn to the high beam. There is not a noticable off on action, like my other vehicles do switching between low and high beams.
Is this normal on the Super Duties or am I missing something?
2. The unlock button on the driver's door seems to be tempermental. There are times I press the button and the side mirror lights blink but nothing else happens. No matter how hard or how many times I press the button the doors will not lock and the mirrors fold in.
There are other time the button seems to work fine, but that is not very often.
Is this a defective button or is something else happening?
I am just trying to determine these two items.
Any thoughts?

Thanks for your reply. I usually push the button with my index finger so my hand is not wrapped around the door handle. The temperamental nature of the button is a mystery.

I've noticed both of those in my 2023 FX4. After 26000 miles, I think both are functioning as intended. The headlights, projector/LEDs, seem to fade into bright and fade into dim when traffic is present. As you said, it's not a clean/crisp bright to dim function; it's more of a smooth fade-in/fade-out. I kinda like it. The lock/unlock button seems to be working correctly, it's just sensitive to touch, I think. Also, I think, for example, if the doors are already unlocked, and you hit the unlock button, it's relatively silent. There's not an audible click on all 4 doors. The same thing is true if the doors are locked and you hit the lock button - there's not an audible click. You'll only hear it when the solenoids are moving, otherwise, it's very quiet.

I touch it with the back of my hand.
Give thst a shot. I learned it from my work provided car.
