Need Mohair
Well yeah I am nearly balk headed, but what I need is a source to order the MOHAIR fabric that goes in the side window lower glass run. The C-channel lower glass run that goes inside the door to accept the side windows when lowered into the door. They measure 5/8" wide at the lower side and 1/2" tall on both sides of the bottom. Need about 3' to do both sides. I located glass tape from Dennis Carpenter but have come up with no source for the mohair.

The glass run channel inside the door is the same stuff, and an extension of, the channel that goes around the window opening. I haven't looked for it for a while but it's always been available at your better local auto glass shops. Maybe times have changed and no one actually does service anymore and they don't keep it around. Thanks Wayne. That got me to thinking and I do not need mohair. The upper glass run extends down into the lower glass run so that is probably why it is so hard to find. No body sells something that is not needed. I could uses more hair though.
