Radiator flush after injector cups

Hello, and thanks in advance. Does anyone have any knowledge that this product is safe in a coolant system for a flush? I would do simple green or dishwasher detergent, but I’m 50 miles from town… this is all I have on hand. I used a blue devil flush yesterday, and flushed with hose water for 3 hours and was still getting some discolored water. I would like it to be very very very clean before filling it back with expensive ELC only too have not gotten it as clean as possible in the first place.

You might try laundry detergent. It's designed to break up grease and oils but not destroy your clothes, and not get too foamy.

I decided to just wait until I got to town. I ended up running it for about 30 min with a gallon of simple green in the system with no thermostat. Then let it soak for 45 min or so before flushing with softened house water until I got no simple green smell. (Maybe over 100 gallons with hose running into upper Rad tank, and upper rad hose restricted with zip ties shooting into a bucket/dry spot on the lawn) I feel like it was an excellent flush, once finished with that, I went through about 20 gallons of distilled water, filling running and draining, last flush should have left about 5% house water by my math. Then filled 4.5 gallons of cat EC 1 equivalent and topped off with distilled.

I’m not much help but I flushed my E99 with the garden hose for what seemed like hours. Then flushed with distilled water. Then filled with cheap green antifreeze and ran it for a month. Then I flushed that out and filled with the old green antifreeze and Fords conditioner. Seems good now have not taken samples probably should.

Injector cups suck. Haha.

ain’t that the truth, I went with the ELC coolant, and added a coolant filter. I should note, before I did the simple green, I flushed possibly thousands of gallons through. I went through 1/4 tank running it with a hose going in and flushing and was still getting discolored/diesel flavored water coming out

Here was my major flush beforehand, every 5 min or so I would pinch the hose and circulate inside the engine until it was half warmed up, then put hose back in and let it flush out, always got really dark looking after that
