We got a little over 4" of rain here in Marion County Never even lost power. God is good! Now I'm on the countdown to Cruisin' the Coast. Took the '54 down to Wiggins (Flint Creek Waterpark) for the NSRA appreciation weekend. Truck ran great and A/C blew COOL! Have a great day, Steve

This time a predicted Cat 3.

Hope the house makes it.

I'm speaking of the Big Bend area in FL where we (just spent our) vacation.

It just missed direct hit with Debby & one last year.

Oh, I dunno'. I've only been up close & personal with 3 tornados & 2 major hurricanes. Camile & Katrina.

If I had 2-3 spare million I'd build where I could see & hear surf & run like hell for central MS when one gets too close...

This is one of the major erosion points on the "island, technically"

About 3/4 mile as the pelican flies from our rental, which is about 5-7 ft higher than road bed.

I guess through time you'll hear something..
I now have a complete Holley Sniper 2 system with the Hyper spark distributor for this project not that I'll be hearing it run for quite some time. I have to change the gear on the distributor to the steel gear and just reading that it should be done by a machine shop..

It's not a biggie. Just a regular shop with a press & hammer/punch to drive out the roll pin.

Some folk use a puller.

Instructions say to press the gear on 90° from where it was and re-drill the hole for the new roll pin. The gear only has a hole drilled one side so it will definitely need drilling regardless to install the pin..
sometimes I get way in over my head and this is feeling like one of them times...lol

Sure you wanted new stuff, but if I was using the original cam, I'd reused the original gear.
