I have a camera mounted on the cab light and it is suppose to view the bed for hooking up goosenecks.... I can not for the life of me figure out how to get it to display ...I know I have to be in reverse but all I can do is the back up camera and the + to get to the hitch view..... I'm sure I'll feel like n idiot once I figure it out with your help....
Go ahead, make me look dumb
Sory, need to update my signature. New truck is a 2022 Lariat/Tremor package.

Big old button right up at the top of the center stack above the media display screen, has a camera icon on it.
Nope and Nope.. No Icon on the screen when in reverse (+ only for zoom) and no big button above the screen (exh brake, traction control, flashers, hill assist and lane departure are the only buttons.). The camera is on the light on the cab pointing at the bed and the truck has the gooseneck pucks too so I'm confused.
Maybe it's not a camera I'm seeing but some additional light. I'll take a look at night and maybe some pictures tomorrow.

Would the techs at the stealership have a clue?
If it has the camera as factory installed, the button is just as I described it, that is the only way it comes.
Do you not have the window sticker to see if it was included in the build or not?
Maybe yours is different, but on mine, once you are in camera display mode (by putting it in Reverse, approach something close, or press the White-circled Video camera icon above the screen), there is this icon circled in Red on screen. Touch it and it shows other available views.

Op's is a '22. I honestly don't remember if we have the icon on our screens our not. I'm out of town or i'd go check mine. I'm sure someone with a '22 will chime in

You only have that icon on the screen with the surround camera system.
OP does not have that, he thinks he just has the bed camera, and the only icon on the screen for that is the "+" symbol for zooming the view.
For the camera system with only back up and bed views, dash screen should be like this.
Mine is the 12" screen, but the 8 inch is similar.
Arrow pointing to camera switch button, that switches between back up and bed cameras, and the zoom button circled on the screen.
I have a 2022 XLT 8" screen with the CHMSL camera and 360 cameras. I have a little box with 3 bars in the corner of the screen and I can change views with that OR I used to be able to just press the camera button above the screen and everytime you press it the camera changes views until you cycle through all available views. Since having my cameras in for warranty work twice my cameras are all jacked up now.
I CAN change my view to the nose camera while backing. I cannot view my cameras at any speed anymore. I used to be able to view every view at any speed except the nose which would shut off at 6mph. Now all views drop above 6mph. Half the time I push the camera button and absolutely nothing happens. Ford supposedly gave me an extended 3/36k premium care warranty BUT I have zero trust in any dealership being competent enough to actually fix the problem and restore my cameras to the way they were when I purchased the truck.
