what type transfercase

What brand and model of transfer case did a ford 78 F-100, with a 4 speed BW T-18?

Could be a Dana 21 if it has only one speed - engage/disengage?

Trans Case?

Could also be an NP 205 or mabey an NP 203,both are two speed cases.

It is a two 2 speed part time. Isn't there a tag or something in the vin number to tell?

Well the 203 is for full time. So it could be the 205.

Is yours married or divoriced? They put Rockwell T-223, i think in some 70s fords. It would be divoriced.

Look for the tag near the front ouput yoke.

Unless you have a converted 203, it sounds like you have a NP205.

In a F600 4x4 maybe, but not in a F-100.
