heater fan trouble

88 f 250 my heater fan sounds like it is blowing fast but it does not seem like there is much air coming out of the defrost for the front window any one got any idea's. I live in east coast canada and it is very cold here this time of year......

It sounds like the door that changes the direction of the airflow isn't working. I've never had to deal with it before, so I can't be of much help on how to fix it, but I'm sure its in a Chilton/Haynes manual.
