Thr front track is wider than the rear track on a Ranger, stock. Why did you take out a dana 44 to put in dana 28 ttb? Most poeple want to go the other way.

there was a few guy's around here that were into 4wheelin.So i started to build me a Ranger.I installed a Dana44,9in rear,6in skyjacker lift,69-302,T-18 4spd,NP205.Then they sold there rigs and i had no one to play with .So installed the stock suspention back in to make it more street friendly. Then i donated the dana, the 6in lift,9in,two C6's, a 205, and a couple of 460's so my brother can build a monster ranger(90). We installed the dana44 in his truck.I also shortened my truck from a long bed to a short one

Alos, a B2 rear is 1.5 inches wider hub to hub than a gen I/II Ranger rear. it is the same width as a gen 3 and up ranger rear. The explorer rear is 1.5 inch wider than a B2 rear.

the front must be wider to.I have all the same size tires, and the front ones stick out to the edge of the fenders, and the rears are at the inside edge so i guess i'm gonna look for a BII rear
