instead i got ran over by a car.........................


i walked out of the bar, car took off.. i just happened to be crossing the parking lot- car hits me... off the hood i flew, laughing my **** off... but just to play along i ran with the car and tried to punch out a window. i wasnt fast enough. anyways i just wanted to instill the fear with the people in the car as i felt, not to hurt anyone.


not that i take it personally, but they should NOT have been driving in the condition they are- thery didnt even make it out the the parking lot and they could have killed someone. me. i didnt get the license plate # though.

i actually woke up this morning laughing about it. i spent a few too many hours in the bar yesterday, had alot of friends with me so i was having a good time.

i really wish i knew how those people in the car felt, and i wish someone had a videocamera! it would have been like on the show "punked" where the actor throws herself onto the car hood for a prank

anyways i bet those people were pretty paranoid after that!

 

oh yeah by the way they werent going too fast, less than 10 miles an hour id guess? i didnt get hurt i just rolled off the hood onto the ground. bet it was pretty funny to watch though. gotta ask my friends later

 

From the way you tell it, I woulda been laughing as well. hehe

 

My friend just had a drunk pedestrian run at full-speed into the side of his Mercedes. The guy left a dent, too!

 

I don't think it's funny.

I think it's less funny that they evidently didn't stop...

They should have been tracked down and caged!

I got hit by a car once ...(fade to memory scene 25+ years ago)....
I was standing at an intersection, gettin' ready to cross so I'd be walking down the road facing traffic, when all of the sudden I hear the squealing of brakes.
I managed to look down to my side just in time to see a chrome bumper. Next thing I knew, I was laying on the road. I was a little hesitant to get up, not knowing if anything was broke. When I did get up, I saw a Nova sitting there with a big dent right in the middle of the hood. Luckily my only injury was a not too bad of a case of road rash on my right arm. (I was told by witnesess later I flew about 20' before hitting the ground.)
It was a women driver, noticably shaken up. I told her I was OK and she offered to take me to the hospital.
She tried to just drop me off then split, but we were sitting at the emergency entrance and a cop came up saying she can't park there.
The look on the cops face, when she said "I just hit this boy and was dropping him off" was one of disbelief.
After all was said and done, no charges were made against the women and I was released from the hospital.

 

anyone see the video on the news of a security camera taping 2 people getting hit crossing the street? i dont know the whole story, but i saw that on the news in the bar the same night i got hit... pretty crazy. reminds me of the movie "final destination"

i think my first post of this might have sounded pretty dramatic, i had quite a few beers that night....

i feel bad for anyone who really does get hit- my incident was like a blessing compaired to one friend of mine who got hit

 

I had the misfortune of witnessing a guy get wacked by a car. Not only was he crossing the road against the red light, he ran through the stopped left turn traffic 3 cars back from the intersection.
The taxi that hit him was not speeding or doing anything wrong when buddy ran out in front of him. From the point of impact, the guy flew clear to the center of the intersection.
...The moral of this story is that when you've just had both of your legs broken, you cannot stand up.
This happened in 93 and I can still picture that poor SOB flopping around on the ground.

 

haha, I'm glad you were able to laugh that off.. I don't think I would be able to do the same.

 

I agree with Greywolf, I don't find it funny at all when some SOB hits some one and then runs. I'd want to see him spend some time looking thru some bars! Glad you were not hurt, you could be dead!!!

 

My Dad hit a pedestrian years ago. Dad was doing about 35 mph, the guy ran out in the street and I guess he really flew. He said the look on the guys face was priceless! Put a big dent in the hood.

My Dad was there in the hospital room with the family a couple days later when the guy woke up. Everyone was happy till Dad served the guy with a bill for damages and a court date. The guy did about $1500 worth of damage to the car, (68 Lincoln 2 door - what a boat).

Oh, btw - The guy was too busy to look both ways before running across the street. He was running from the 7/11 he just arm robbed. Cost of doing business I guess.
