i believe its a stock engine with a c4 automatic trans and a 9 inch rear going for just a street build. it has a 4 barrel holly on it now but i want to go edelbrock

IMO, Holley is the better choice over the Edelbrock.
Auto trans in a heavy vehicle with a relatively stock motor = vacuum secondary.
