Hello,
I have an old 76 F250 4x4 highboy with the power assist steering unit sitting on the outside of the left frame in the wheel well.
Does anyone know of an easy swap to get the components on the inside of the frame like every other vehicle manufacturer has?
I’m not interested in the electric conversions but more so as to what are compatible components that match up.
Mom wanting to get better clearance in the wheel area.
It's not cheap but the best conversion without a doubt is the one from Benchworks.
It comes with absolutely everything you need and it takes about half a day to install. the best money I've spent on my '76 highboy I'd do the same thing again without question.
