Replacing Stock Leaf Bushings with Poly
Hey,
I am installing a set of leaf springs on my 74 swb. I replaced the leaf spring eye bushings and the shackle bushings with polyurethane ones. I had to cut the outer shell out and insert those 2 piece bushings in their place with a new sleeve. My question is how tight do I need to torque the bolts down with the poly bushings?? The original specs called for 75-105 lbs. When I torque these bushings down to that it gets real tight. I feel like the poly probably calls for something less. Does anyone have any idea??
