Tachometer stoped working
After stoping at a gas station yesterday my stock tach in my 81 bronco 351-m, auto, stopped working. It just doesnt register anything, doesn't move at all. Any thought on how to fix? Thanks.

Sounds odd. First check the connections to the coil. If good, you'll have to check the ground. May have to pull the Inst cluster to make sure the nut on back is not loose or circuit board not burnt. If voltage is good from the coil, and ground good, probably a bad tach.

As Chrstnsn says, check the tach connection first. If you still have the Duraspark coil with the "horseshoe" connector, the trouble could be there. Spray it with WD-40 and remove and reconnect. Also check for a broken wire; There is usually a lot of stress on the wiring harness where it connects to the coil.
