I complained enough to the retailer and they gave me a 2nd set free. They are not perfect, a slight vibration from 60-65mph, but barely noticeable. I'll live with them until they wear out or get worse.

MJB1962; be thankful it's only announce, I ran a set or General Ameristeel 9.50x 16.5 against a trucker friends advice. At 350 miles from new I had one grow a 8" diameter by 3" high blister at 85 mph. Dealer replaced, then at 1,400 miles the side wall on other tire blew out near the tread, this time I managed a 540 spin without hitting anything. The trucks always empty. When they sold the tires they said "them is the best money could buy", after the second failure the manager said Ameristeel 550's were crap. I'm on Michelins now, they take very little weight to balance, spin true, quiet and wear slowly. Do your homework then buy. My $0.02. Carl............o&o>.................

I'm going through a similar situation. I installed taller and wider tires on mine in Feb. After 2 alignments and countless tire/wheel balances, the shop tells me my Pitman arm is cracked. A couple days ago I torqued everything on the front steering except the pitman and idler arms. (Didn't have a big enough socket) The vibration was much better but not gone. So, I took it to the shop. Just a thought. I'm referring to my 1999 F-150^^^^. Oh yeah, $215 parts, labor and alignment for my truck.
