Courtesy Lights
After owning my truck for 18 months, I just realized that the courtesy lights don't come on when I open the back door(s) on my crew cab. Manual says that any door will make them come on...what gives? They work fine with the front doors.

Sounds like a problem to me... it also sounds like you might be under warrantee, so let the dealer figure it out. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful. I actually have the opposite problem of yours; my courtesy light stays on & the truck thinks that one of the doors are open when they are all closed. I have read that a squirt of WD-40 in the latch might help solve this -- not sure if the same would apply to you. Does your dummy light in the dash turn on if you have one of the back doors open? If not, then the latch may be having a problem...

Well, I just checked and the door open light on the dash doesn't come on either-with the back doors open. Guess I'll check a wiring diagram and see if there's a common connection for both back doors. Thanks for getting me started in a direction.
