Looking for header advice
The previous owner installed Hooker headers that go outside the frame and exit behind the doors. I find them noisy, not to mention they’re all rusty, and would like to have that deep V8 throaty sound.
I did contemplate going back to the original exhaust manifolds, but I’d probably have to get the Dorman ones.
I’m thinking of going with Hedman Hedders 89218 - ELITE Ultra Duty Street Headers - 1-3/4" Long Tube, with one exhaust pipe to the back.
Can anyone offer advice based on their experiences?
