Excursion one stop A/C thread

So, in the 2 years that I've owned this excursion, the front vents in my excursion have been "cool" on cool days, and "why the F isn't this working" on hot days. Rear system has been nice and cold, always. Today, I decided to find out what was happening. This thread is both educational (all of our excursions are aging, and my problem is likely someone elses problem) and inquisitive (inquisitive because I don't want to miss anything when it comes to replacing parts). So, my dryer/accumulator is clogged and that yields a warm condition in the front while the rear ac blows cold). The dryer/accumulator is clogged, which goes to the front evap coil, and the rear bypasses it entirely. It's only a matter of time before the rear is clogged for the same reasons the front is clogged, and I am currently developing a pat list to replace everything in the system that could be associated with said clogged components.

While I'm doing this, and the system is discharged, I figure I'd replace all the hoses that are still available. So, I'm looking for input from someone who has done this before, to give me a list of all of the "wearable" components in the system (both front and rear), and if we can't come up with someone who has done this to their excursions, then lets make this thread that accumulates that information.

Currently, I have:
-compressor
-dryer/accumulator
-hoses in the engine bay ( i have no idea what they're to be called, i just recognize that they're cracked [not leaking, but misewell replace them while the system is flat])
-rear orifice valve?

please, anyone who is familiar with these systems, chime in. The goal is to replace everything so that it doesn't have to be touched for another 10-20 years.

put in a new Condenser, it is plugged up, no way to clean it out.
my Excursion has a new Condenser, Compressor, Dryer, Orifice, and trans ***** thinga mabob that regulates the rear AC

my '01 Suburban shelled out the compressor.
I took it to a good diesel shop.

they replaced everything except the rear Evaporator, they said the filter stopped the debris going into that, but both AC lines from front to back, had to be replaced, there was fine metal dust in the whole system.

When I had the body off my Excursion, I purchased all the AC hoses under the hood and had the system recharged. Recently I had a Mishimoto transmission cooler installed and to access the area the shop had to move the AC condenser which required opening the system. Since then the rear doesn’t blow cold. The cab vents are ice cold as expected. Advice from some of the FTE members have provided some excellent advice on what the problem could be like the inline mesh filter. I’m taking it in tomorrow to flush the system and change out both the front and rear filters and whatever else might need replacing. Thanks for the reminder…

Have a look through my thread, I have disturbed my A/C system 3 or 4 times, sometimes to simply make room to maintenance/replaced other parts, other times to just get new stuff in there or replace failed parts from age.
