4600 are always solid, they are on the 88/92/96 and 01s. 5100s worked very well on my 4x4 6.4. I think they are valved slightly different

Tirerack shockingly is not too expensive

The big Rock Auto has the 4600 for $160 shipping included. Just going to order those. It looks like my shackle bushing are the molded rubber type so just to make sure I will tear it all apart before ordering the bushing kit. Energy has a kit for "common frame shackles" and "molded in frame". I cant see a shell so I'm assuming they are the molded type.

Finished up the rear leaf spring bushings and new shackles. Got a set of dorman shackles and burned out the bushings all energy suspension stuff. Went with the Bilstein 4600's truck drives good. Anyone looking for the lower shock bolts Lowes Item #755846 is a perfect fit like it was made for the truck. Bolts on my truck were 1/4 wore through. Entire truck is now energy suspension except cab stuff. New axle ubolts from PMF suspension. They sent 12 1/2 inch bolts first, way too long, sent me a new 10 1/2 inch set and those were good to go.

Go with the Bilsteins. Never been disappointed in them.

Already did the Blistein 4600's. Drives good. Rear end was not right especially from take off I dont know if it was axle wrap or what. Driver side shackle was totally frozen and had to be cut off with a hard wheel. A lot of slop in everything else like leaf spring bushings and lower shock bushings and bolts. . All the work seems to have helped quite a bit.

I know the Bilstein shocks that came with my 1996 F250 4x4 must be fairly new, I can easily wipe any dirt off the outer surface of the shock.
