I'd like to replace the factory radio with something fancy. I'm looking for a way to have a small ipad/tablet since this truck is my office. Any suggestions for good kit that I could get that would include the screen and face plate that would fit into the space where the current radio and ***** below are located? I don't know anything about car audio (obviously) and don't know what to even search for.

Given the space on a 2011 which I’m assuming is what you have looking at you profile, about alls you can get to fit neatly in the space is what’s called a Double DIN unit which measures 4”x7”. Don’t cheap out, get a quality brand name system i.e. Pioneer, Kenwood, Alpine etc. In addition to this. you’ll need an interface to marry the new head units wiring to the trucks wiring such as this, https://www.crutchfield.com/p_794ADS...e.html?tp=3486 you’ll also need a trim plate https://www.crutchfield.com/p_120955...k.html?tp=3121 Then if you want XM radio, you’ll also need one of these https://www.crutchfield.com/p_220SXV...0V1-Tuner.html As mentioned before Crutchfeild if a good go to for selection on systems. Once you think you’ve decided on a system, and have anymore questions, you can always go to the Audio & Video section of this forum where you may get more answers https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/forum60/
