So my fuel cooler is whining. Been an issue for a little bit now. I did have to somewhat recently drain the anti freeze and remove all the coolers from the front end. I’ve seen it discussed people remove the cooler and manually shake it around to get the air out.
Is it feasible to use a small pump hooked up to an antifreeze bottle to blast thru the system to force air out of the cooler coil?
im thinking somthing along the lines of disconnecting both sides of the hoses from the cooler, use a drill pump from one bottle of antifreeze into one end and an empty bottle at the other and just blast it thru.
It would be helpful to know what type of truck you have year and model….answers would be all over the place and gas answers don’t apply to diesel, 6.0 answers don’t apply to 6.4 and 6.7 trucks, etc.
in the mean while…don’t use high pressure anything to blow air out of the fuel system.
I’m going to guess you have a 6.4 or 6.7 and the. Poise is coming from your lift pump.

yes, it’s only active when it’s hot out. Almost never on during first start or the day or colder weather months
