How do I remove expy headlite assembly?
Mom's got a 98 explorer and she hit a deer two nites ago. Plastic grill broke, small dent in bumper, fender out of alignment a little, and headlight is loose. I fixed the fender good as new, bumper isn't noticable, gotta get a grill yet, and I gotta fix the headlite. It still works but the mount on one side is broke. How do I get this out so I can see if I can repair it or replace it? Passenger side, just headlight, park lite is OK. Thanks!

Easiest way is to remove the grille and headlight rings. Then you can see the adjustment rods and the mounting bolts for the headlight assmebly itself. Seems like it runs around $70 from Ford. I have had to replace one on my X because of deer also - but it was a while back and I really don't remember the exact bolt locations and sizes.
