interior upgrades

I just saw some awesome stuff on the photo galleries... I have a 72 f-100 and i saw stroker393 photo gallery, it was awesome... I really like the bucket seats and the gauges he has, and the shifter on the floor looks good. I was also looking at truck35 photo gallery and I like his door panels... Im just really looking for ideas to re-do my interior.... anyone else have any more ideas, or places to where i can get things like the gauges and stuff like that.. I want to put bucket seats in but I dont know about moving my gas tank, so im just thinking about re doing my bench seat like truck35 did. Does anyone know about the liner or cover thing on the ceiling... I think that is a littly ugly.... have any ideas about that?

The headliner can be made at home with supplys from an uhpolstery shop for around 20-30 bucks. That is insulated and covered with headliner material to match your interior. If you have an questions or interested in this route let me know and I'll send pics.

Also want info on Bucket Seats

Re doing the interior is something you can do for a couple hundred on your own by buying new covers for seat, and making a headliner. Or you can go all out and spend $1500. + - More for Leather, at an upholstery shop and get the real deal whole thing re-done. In a stock truck of our era - there was very little actual upholstery, but it's easy to put material on the cab interior, and fab up door panels, kick panels, headliner etc., so the shops really don't run up a lot of hours.

Bucket Seats: I want to find out what the base for the rarely optioned Bucket Seats in a 67 Ranger looked like (I'd like to get them even), because I bought some 66 Mustang Buckets that I plan to get recovered and put in my truck in place of the bench.
It's my understanding that these are the same seats Ford used on this option. It would be easy to put any model or brand in, it's just a matter of making holes, etc. But I really want to keep close to original type.

I have built me own bucket seat mount using some of the original parts of the bench seat and a few pieces of steel. You need to weld this stuff together so if you don't have a welding machine you will have to have it done elswere. If you would like to see pics or would like me to build one for you let me know.
