Dashmat for a '92-'96?
I'd like to get one of those cloth type dashpads/dashmats for our '93. Which brands do you use/recommend and can you post pictures? This will help my wife and I determine which one to go for.
Cheers,
Derek
I expect there to be a few differences, just want to make sure I don't buy one that covers up more stuff than necessary or one that has poor fitment. If no one posts pictures, I'll probably go with DashMat as that's what I've got in my Town Car and Firebird, both fit pretty well.

BTW Covercraft probably has a sale this weekend for July 4.

From my old '92 F150 (the hardware store truck), which has a dash cover that's over 25 years old (unsure of brand, as there's no name on it, and I don't recall where I got it):
And from my '92 F250, which has a DashMat brand cover that's less than 2 months old (hasn't had time to "settle-in" yet):
I seem to recall reading online somewhere that DashMat actually produces these for other Manufacturers (they "brand" them), and I found that a lot of the pictures to be the same across Manufacturers. Also, some of the ones that may be "branded" had an extended lead time, which makes sense if you think about it.....
Regardless, the old, faded, red one looks to be built/sewn almost identical to the new, grey one, despite not having a name on it, but I really want to say it's a DashMat brand as well. As for the grey one looking "lumpy", I haven't use the included velcro to stick-it down with, nor do I think I ever will, as not only do I NOT want something "glued" to the dash, but also once the red one "took shape", I never found the need to do that.
Hope these help, and good luck!

(I can get more pics, if interested.)

I'd like to trade you the gray interior out of our truck for your red interior.

Sadly, it looks like we'll be going with Dashmat and that the fitment is about what I feared. Oh well, better than a cracked dash. The red dash pad you've got has great fitment though, I'd love to have it.

@ Jim_K, That red interior'd truck, is it a regular cab? I don't see ourselves being in MN within six months though. I'll have to keep my eyes peeled on junkyard inventories for a suitable donor. I got lucky once, a yard was setting a truck down with red interior and I was the first to pick at it. Good thing too, the "flies" had already begun to swarm. Couldn't get the dashboard so I just put a red cover on ours, swapped the glove box and other trim bits to accomplish the red swap. Looked mighty decent.

But the red dashpad is in excellent condition, if memory serves....
