Filter?

Just wanted to verify some info I received. Is there in fact, a fuel filter inside the dual function supply reservoir? I've been told there is, however, the TSM makes no mention of one. 1989 F150. 4.9 EFI.
Thanks for any info, appreciate it.

According to what I've read on line, no. Also, my '88 didn't have a filter when I took the bottom cup off.
Here's a good thread on it https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...reservoir.html

Thanks Soup. Seems as though it's more of a single reservoir thing and not used after 87. Appreciate your input, that's why I figured I'd check here before I go and break the plastic cup lol.
