What makes injectors "Tic"?

What makes injectors "Tic"?
I had one of my injectors started to make a very loud clicking sound almost as if there was something being chucked inside a cylinder.
Today I narrow it down to cylinder #2, I removed the valve cover and unplugged injector an the noise immediately went away. So I swapped the injector to cylinder #4 and it followed the injector. I also removed the the solenoid from that injector to see if the armature screw is loose or had broken bolt but it was looked good
Truck runs good, no shakes, no excessive smoke, just has a very loud click.
Any body else have experienced this?
