Hey guys, returning member here. I have a 2020 F-250 7.3 gasser with 4:30 gears, 107,000 miles. Today the transmission started acting up and it hung up in 7th gear. I stopped switched the truck off let it sit for 5 minutes crank it up and it to off like normal and ran through the gears like normal, so I put the cruise on and within 5 minutes the transmission jumped back to 7th (70mph) and stayed there. Regardless of what speed i went (0-70mph). I pulled over again, cut the truck off and restarted put transmission in gear and it went straight to 7th gear. Anybody have a clue??

That is the fault mode.
You should have a check engine light or more likely a wrench light showing.
Likely a valve body/shift solenoid issue.
Don't drive it anymore until you can get it in the shop to get it fixed or extra transmission damage may happen.
I just had my transmission replaced on my 2020 super duty, there was a planetary gear recall, have you tried messaging @Ford Motor Company
In all honesty, I wouldn’t bother, they’re pretty fucking useless
