Hello all! I have an F2 that has been titled wrong. Title says its a 47 which is not even close. It's either a 49 or early 50. The serial number is 97HD168262. It is still a flat 6 and an F2 like the serial number dictates. I just don't know the cut off for the final 6 digits for 49 or 50. Any help would definitely be appreciated.

There's an entire giant thread here dedicated to finding the cutoff between 49-50 with years and years of data. Short answer is it depends on the assembly plant, but typically it falls between 170-200,000. You should have a series of numbers and letters hand stamped across the top part of the firewall, under the hood, which would reveal your color code, assembly plant and build date. If you can find that, snap a picture and post it here, we can decode it for you and tell you for sure if it's a 49 or 50. Chances are it's a later 49.
