So 2 years I bought the 1950 F5 on the right for my wife from a local guy. She has been parked since 1972. Ran when parked 😁. Then a year and a half ago I bought a hood and roof from a lady that had the 1950 F1 on the left...it was parked out in the woods back in 1976...ran when parked 😁. When I asked about a couple more parts...she said just take the whole truck if you want it...do
ne!!! Brought her home a couple weeks ago. So now I have a few more good parts for me and probably some good F1 parts for everyone else since they won't do me much good on the F5. I will start listing parts once I finally start getting some work done on these two old girls! Wish me luck!!!
Let me be the first enabler on this forum to say Well Done.
The convertible on the left has the same aged color scheme that my '49 did when I first dragged it home...flat tires and all.
Here is a 'before' picture. It was red under the blue paint. But it eventually was turned into a presentable truck that made it all the way to Truckstock in PA.
You have a nice supply of parts there.

Very nice!!! It's nice not to get the nose wrinkle at how they look...some people just don't see the potential and understand the rarity there is in parts! Also, "the convertable"...made me giggle a bit...I love it! I wish I had brought her home as a whole because they would look so much nicer next to each other that way! Had to snag the hood though...besides one small little dent in the front, the hood was perfect! And we know what original and repop hoods go for on these trucks! Here's a "in the woods" pre-molestation pic that i took several years ago before I even bought the other truck!
