is there a company who makes a front dual shock kit for a stock SD with the snow plow package since it makes it pretty much level? I bet i could probably have one designed for an arm and leg but who wants that.
I run a fabtech system, but there are a few others that use a "hoop" type, the plow package is not a factor, because the shocks will still mount in the stock position, so you can go with which ever you like the best.
ok, so can i use the fabtech dual shock mounting brackets with my stock super duty (no lift) with the snow plow package? it says that it is used for the 2"-8" lift systems but i figuered it doesnt matter b/c all they are are mounting brackets for shocks, only thing is, that i would obviously not use shocks for lifted trucks, just the reg length size. also, was just looking at the national tire and wheel website and saw that fabtech has a rear dual shock mounting kit. whould that also work on unlifted trucks? i should prob just call the company but since everyone is so knowledgable here why bother
Should work. I haven't seen the Fabtech rear mount but as long as the shocks are the correct length I don't see why not. I'm pretty sure that ORU sells a dual rear shock setup as well. Or, you could make your own for less $$.
ok, since im not getting any absolutely positive feed back i'll call them up and see what the deal is. i appreciate your insight DCSpecial, and thanks for that ORI web site
