injector size suggestions?
ive got a 393 that im STILL trying to get running. it has a lightning intake on it and im hoping for around 400 hp give or take. i recently figured out that at least the front two injectors arent opening. i dont think any of them are. ive used a noid light and they seem to be getting signal. using the 9 volt battery test i cant hear them clicking. the plugs were dry when i pulled them and there is no trace of a gas smell in the exhaust. the motor will try to start if i spray some starter fluid in it but nothing w/o it. im fairly certain its the injectors. the ones that are in it are the dark blue 36 pound fat injectors that i think came out of a tbird. i cant find anymore like that anyways.
so im trying to figure out what to go with. maybe upgrade if i need to. it seems they are all expensive. i hear people saying that if they are too big there will be idling problems. but i hear alot of good things about the siemmans deka 4 60 pound injectors . apparently the new technology has fixed the low end problems. some of people on the bronco site like them
so what do yall think? what is the popular opinion here? what works and what doesnt?
thanks a bunch!
kevin
