I just want a scan tool that can read srs fault codes and reset without overpaying. There is a Kzyee brand on ebay for $70, harbor freight has another brand one for $140, but I've never had to diagnose srs system before so I wanted to find out what others have used and recommend.

You will need a good scanner and/or a scope to diagnose SRS circuits.. and that will not meet your budget restraints.

I just need to see if there is still a fault code for the drivers seatbelt pretensioner because I had safety restore rebuild it, yet airbag light is still on. I need to know if I need to send the seatbelt back to them, or buy a new one from Ford dealer, or is some other problem now. The ford dealer told me the fault was in the drivers seatbelt before I sent it in originally. Truck was wrecked before i bought it, i dont know if pretensioner deployed or not.
