Power steering bracket
I have an '86 f250 6.9L with a fractured power steering bracket. It appears that it was metal fatigue, as it has not been in an accident. I discovered it when I could not tighten the belts to my satisfaction.
I've seen one on eBay, but for a smaller motor. Short of junkyards, are there other sources I should look into first for a replacement part?

Mine was cracked by a previous owner doing a rough engine swap. I had it welded back to original strength, but noticed the thing flexes if I tighten the belt a lot. Things just weren't built that stout in the first place. Leaving my belt tension (Goodyear Gatorback) loose enough to slip at full lock because I fear it might break.
planning on somehow adding gusset(s) but I don't own a Heliarc.
