leaky oil pan

Did anybody ever used Seal All on a leaky rusted oil pan. I have two pin holes in mine. I also have a leaky rear fuel tank. Would this stuff do the triak? If not do you have any suggestions?

I'd call that a temporary fix, at best.

my front tank started leaking the other day after some gravel got between the skid plate and the tank. I removed the plate and it was just a pin hole. I used a bar of soap and rubbed on it for a few seconds and waited. the leak stopped. the larger hole, I took a sheet metal screw and placed a small A/C oring around the end and screwed it into the hole. So far both leaks have not reoccured, and much cheaper than a new tank

Soap might not hold too long but I've fixed oil pans with JB weld and its held for years. Gotta get it real clean. I've also fixed fuel tank leaks. They usually leak under a strap. The strap will hold the patch in place. Think nappa has some stuff made for diesel tanks. Temporary is right but temporary is a relative thing.

leak

Hi french !
I would screw in a "stainless sheet-metal screw" with an o-ring as stated in the other reply. The oil-pan is truly hell to get out! This solution would plug the hole until you are ready to take the oil pan out, at that time I would try some kind of welding as a permenant solution.

I would think the best repair you could do without pulling the engine would be qwik J-B weld or something similar. Drain the oil and clean the area good with sandpaper and brake clean. Hopefully it doesn't all run off before it hardens.
