My SBE CAC hot pipe install

Where I grew in the city we had public sewers... Living out in the country the past 17 years, we have septic. Had some issues with the sewer pipe under the house that I dealt with... Old house and not a lot of room...
Had to install a new check valve in the pump house, the leech field is uphill, lowered my 17 ft extended ladder down into it and used my old rubber hunting boots... Yep the smells are wonderful... The tank gets pumped out every 3 years... There's more to this story but I'll keep it short hare in the 6.7 section...
Good luck with new system Scott...

Two years ago I replaced our septic tank with a 3 chamber system that conforms with the current regulations over here. The previous system was a massive brick-built tank under the yard that had started to collapse and did not smell of roses in summer. I was worried that a vehicle would fall into it, and we had to cover the holes in summer so the young geese and chickens wouldn’t disappear. Also, the previous owner had built a 90 degree bend into the pipe that would clog up several times a year, and I kept pulling bits of rods out that he had used and lost to clear it himself.
Always twist drain rods clockwise when in use or it’ll happen to you as well 😁

Seems everyone is telling stories... I'm going to have to tell mine at one point...

I have the spe hot side along with an after market boot with a 1/8 npt to sense boost pressure for me AEM system.
i have the spe cold side in a box in my garage…I took it off becuase I didn’t like the arrangement of npt ports on the spe cold side…spe move the IAT a foot closer to the throttle body and with the npt ports there..I was spraying my IAT sensor and confiding my pcm.

Well I am happy to report that the SBE hot pipe solved the problem of diesel exhaust smell in the cab. I placed the fan on and in the vent at me position in cold, on high, and absolutely NO smell of exhaust at all at stops like BEFORE. It doesn't make sense because that is the fresh air being pushed by the turbine blades to pressurize the intake system but since the dealer checked that small line off the back and it was good, what I found, an oily mess back and a boost leak, weird no codes, that somehow had to be the problem. Has to be... I no longer smell the fumes...
