Best Ball Joint options in 2024

Unbelievably, just 15k miles after replacing my truck's ball joints they are loose again. The shop that did them used Moog which I hear is a low-quality brand these days.

There are a lot of older threads but as with Moog brands change where the manufacture and quality can drop off significantly over time.

What are the best ball joints to use in our Super Duty trucks in 2024? Let's put Dynatrack components on the side as they are extremely expensive ($760ish)

I'd go with Spicer, but am interested if others have better options!

Same as bajaphile above. I've been so confused about what ball joints are good, and what ball joints are junk anymore than I've just resorted to Spicer joints from venture truck parts.

The reason for buying from Venture truck parts is because of all the counterfeit Spicer parts that are all over the internet now. If you buy a "spicer" part off Amazon or eBay, there's at least a 80% chance that you'll get a fake, same goes for Motorcraft branded parts on Amazon /eBay, more counterfeits than genuine parts for those out there too. Venture truck parts is an authorized dealer for Spicer, so the stuff you get from them is real genuine Spicer.

I too am interested in what ball joints that don't cost $1k for the set, are decent now.

I myself run the Mevotech TTX line of ball joints. They were designed with the Canadian oil fields in mind and they.are.tough. SmackDaddy has been running them on his '03 Excursion for a few years now and they've stood up to his heavy foot and crazy driving lol

Joking aside, I myself was in this position and Mevotech's TTX line of Ball joints are worth it long term. I made the mistake of using the O'Reilly house brand back in 2021. In less than 2 years time, they were done. They had fallen apart and the steering was loose as all get out. I do not recommend Master Pro components at all. Sure there's a lifetime warranty but it's not worth it.

I'm currently running Moog in my 08 F250 that I installed in 2020. I'm due to check them but to date they've held up good. When it's time to do them again Ill be looking at Kryptonite brand balljoints (as well as wheel bearings and other steering pieces) though as their warranty sounds great.
