1961 ford f250
Recently inherited a 1961 ford f250 and looking to restore it. Is there a newer truck frame that would be easiest to swap with? Also looking for the specific bed for this truck. I think it is a 7' bed. Thank you

From your description I'm guessing your truck is not a unibody. If it had a bed, it would have had the earlier style bed, from the ''57 to '60. These are often called wrong beds, since the body lines don't line up. I don't believe there was a 7 foot bed. It would be a 6.5' (?) or 8'.

The 61 cab is not a direct bolt on to any newer truck chassis. It can and has been done though and in general the newer you go the more work it is. Anything is possible, guys mount them on Crown Vic chassis all the time.
