Factory FM radio tuning

I have the only PSD Excursion in Norway (as far as I know) and is POd at the radio system. The US system uses the odd decimal numbers for the FM stations (100.1 100.3 100.5 etcetera), while the European system uses all frequencies, but mostly even numbers. Chrysler radios have an 3-4 pushbutton sequence to swap the radio over in the other mode, but I haven't heard that Ford does. Do you have any idea for fixing this?

Thanks!

Bjornar,

Think you're out of luck. When I brought my truck back from the US, I simply changed the Stereo. I found the wiring harnesses provided by www.crutchfield.com very useful. They have harnesses for most trucks/cars sold in the US. Unfortunately, I don't think they ship to Europe.

Factory FM radio tuning

joa,
Yup, thought of that. Problem is I want to keep all the extras of the factory radio, such as a separate amp. for the rear seat passengers, enabling me to play Asbjørnsen and Moe adventure CDs for the kids while I listen to the radio (or nothing at all).

Your other option is to get another radio with a cassette tape adapter. You can shove the radio (possibly a radio walkman) into the little shelf on the dash, possibly even power it from the power point with the right voltage/adapter.

Certainly seems like there should be a way to convert the radio you've got to Euro standard. Have you written to Ford?
